I love it, it is powerful, totally silent, a masterpiece sitting in front of me and i got covered for a minimum of 4-5 years judging from my needs and workflow. It is the best Mac i had so far and owned enough of them to make such a statement. I have the 12Core 2.7Ghz - 32Gb Ram - 1 Tb SSD, Mac Pro 2013. don't get me wrong the MacBook pro is ok, but easy to bring to it's knees and the fan noise is annoying when tracking. Wondering if I should wait to see what comes out first or get something a bit more powerful now. wait for the new imac pro/mac pro's to drop.īut looking at the prices 5k+ for the new imac pro /mac pro?. I've been thinking about trading it on a trash can perhaps a base quad core and then upgrade the CPU to an eight core.Ģ013 quad trash can go for about 1,500 used, 8 core CPU is about 5 hundred. but the fan noise is annoying when recording and power is a little underwhelming when I start to mix. I currently have a late 2015 MacBook pro 2.5mhz.
